Have a health solution? Apply for funding! 2025 cycle for Blue & You Foundation behavioral health grants and mini grants

The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas awards grants to community partners focused on improving the state of behavioral healthcare and mental health in Arkansas. Grants of $25,000 to $250,000 are awarded in the following categories:
- Access to quality mental healthcare
- Awareness, education and outreach
- Crisis care
- Early intervention
- Mental health innovation
- Substance use disorder
- Suicide prevention
- Preventive behavior healthcare
2025 behavioral health grant cycle deadlines
The first step is to submit a letter of intent through the Blue & You Foundation grant portal July 1-13, 2025. You can learn more about the letter of intent in the 2025 Behavioral Health RFP.
- Applicants will be notified by email on July 25, 2025, if they are invited to apply. The application period closes on August 15, 2025.
- Award notifications will be emailed on November 11, 2025.
Applying for mini grants
The Bue & You Foundation also awards mini grants of $1,000 to $5,000 to support health promoting programs offered by nonprofit organizations, government entities, churches, public schools, colleges and universities.
These grants support:
- Emergency response equipment such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs), naloxone kits (to fight opioid overdoses), stop-the-bleed kits, and accident-prevention items
- Maternal and pediatric health
- Food pantry support
- Health initiatives that positively impact students in public schools, colleges and universities
The mini grant application process began on January 1, 2025, and is evaluated on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications are open during the first two months of each quarter of the remainder of the year (April-May, July-August and October-November). Notifications of approval or decline are sent during the third month of each quarter (March, June, September and December). Applications are evaluated based on the need and the quality of the requests.
