Supporting moms and babies during every step of the childbirth journey

Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is proud to help ARHOME families take good care during and after pregnancy through two unique programs: Maven and Special Delivery. These programs are free for ARHOME members and can help make pregnancy safer.

Maven is a free online program available to most members. To see if you can use it, check Blueprint Portal self-service website or smartphone app or call the number on your member ID card. With Maven, you can talk to providers, lactation consultants (breastfeeding help) and mental health experts anytime you need. You also get a personal health coach to answer your questions and give advice between provider’s visits.

Special Delivery helps pregnant women work with their providers to watch for signs of preterm labor (when the baby comes too early). Moms of any risk level can join this program, and a registered nurse will support you during your pregnancy. You can sign up for Special Delivery through Blueprint Portal or by calling the number on your member ID card.

Blue Wellness Rewards gives moms-to-be redeemable gift cards to work toward a healthy pregnancy and birth. When they report a pregnancy, Arkansas Blue Cross sends helpful information to keep both mom and baby healthy. And by doing certain healthy activities, moms can earn up to $225!

For ARHOME members, it’s important for moms to keep their contact information updated with the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) so they can access these services. You can update your info in person at a local DHS county office, online at access.arkansas.gov., or by phone at (888) 987-1200. To find a county office near you, visit  Find a County Office – Arkansas Department of Human Services.

Women can also get advice from their provider or pharmacist to decide whether birth control could help them with family planning.

Women can sign up for Maven, Special Delivery or Blue Wellness Rewards in Blueprint Portal or by calling the customer service number on their ID card.
